Restoration

Our focus is on the restoration of historic woodwork within listed buildings, churches and aged structures, where operating under the special requirements of planning and listed buildings consent is required. Woodwork in recent times has become power tool and machine heavy and although we understand there is place in modern conservation for the use of such methods we try to use this only when required preferring hand tools and traditional techniques along with specially selected timbers to sympathetically restore and conserve the existing woodwork and historic character.
